UI Testing:-

UI Testing or GUI Testing is the type of functional testing, UI means User Interface and GUI means Graphical User Interface.

It is used to check the user interface of an application using a color combination, layout, margin, padding, scrolling options.

UI Testing is also checking the responsiveness of an application on different devices, browsers, and operating systems.

It is also called Graphical User interface testing. because we check the external layer of an application.

Most of the companies provide UI testing tasks to UI Developers but in some cases, the QA team also can work on it.

UI Testing mostly is done by the manual testing team because accessibility and color combination testing are not possible by automation.

for example, if we check the www.covidshanti.com site and check banner, mask images that are not properly defined then it is the failure of UI Testing based on the margin of images.

Margin, Padding, Alignment, Color combination, width, height, font-size, font-family, font-weight, bold, italic, Image optimization, Responsiveness.

UI Testing Test Case Design is similar to functional testing.
