What is Salesforce? What is Apps and Object?

 

It is dynamic CRM that is used to create complete web software to manage the any organization internal activity based on sales, service, marketing, community, etc., it also provide customized solution, data integrity and custom app development using multiple salesforce org.

Salesforce is a cloud based platform that provide SFDC based product to create and customized complete application under force.com cloud server.

It is based on SAAS and PAAS based cloud services.  SAAS means Software as a service and PAAS means Process as a Service.

How to create Account on SFDC

1)  developer.salesforce.com/signup

using this write proper userid and password to manage the account login process

What is App in salesforce:-

App means application, salesforce provide two different type of application, first is standard application that is also called readymade application of salesforce, we can not do any thing else , every thing salesforce manage.

Second Type of application is custom application that is developed by salesforce developer using admin dashboard option.

How to create Custom App:-

To create custom app salesforce provide platform tools option under left sidebar ,click  app manager link, it open new panel under right side.

click on new lighting app button 

What is Salesforce Objects:-

It is used to store the application content using set of fields and relationship, object internally create database table to store the record under force.com database server.

no need to create database, table and data connection manually, salesforce by default provide internal connection between database table using Object.

Salesforce provide two different type of objects

1)  Standard Object:-

This type of object created by salesforce already to manage salesforce readymade application.

we can not modify standard object , we can only change records to perform data insertion, updation and deletion operation.

2) Custom Object:-

It is created by salesforce developer to store application data using structured format.

user can modify fields, relationship and records.

we can delete also custom object.

How to create custom object

Click on Object Manager under main menu  ---->  Create ---> Custom Object---> provide name and plural name and bottom of screen click on last checkbox----> next --->Choose Tab Style and Write Description ---> next ---> choose app where object display ---->Save

What is Fields and Relationship?

Fields means set of column that will be created by salesforce according to data type. if you require number then we can take number field, text then we can text field, phone no then we can take phone no field, email then we can  email field.

Salesforce form elements data type will be managed by field.

How to create new field in salesforce?

Go into Object Manager ---> Click Object ---> Click on Fields and relationship --> New Button---> choose filed and click on save button --> provide field name, size ---> next ---> save.

fields will be appeared into the object check to click object navigation item.
